Ocean City
November 12: Storm Warriors 5K Run/Walk
Held from 9-11 a.m. on the Boardwalk, the run/walk will consist of an out-and-back course with awards in various categories.
November 13: Fiddler on the Roof
Fiddler on the Roof comes to the Ocean City Performing Arts Center for an evening dance and song. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the production beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale for $55, $65 and $75, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the Art League of Ocean City.
November 17: Winterfest of Lights Opening
Holiday festivities kick off on November 17 with the opening of Winterfest of Lights, which runs nightly through December 31. Take a walking tour of the holiday lights, sip hot chocolate and take a photo with Santa. The event is held at Northside Park.
November 19: Bill Engvall “Here’s Your Sign - It’s Finally Time” The Farewell Tour
Bill Engvall, a Grammy nominated, multi-platform selling recording artist, comes to the Ocean City Performing Arts Center for his farewell tour. Shows will be held at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
November 25-27: 40th Annual Holiday Shoppers Fair
Handmade products, candles, photography, florals and more will be available for purchase at the 40th Annual Holiday Shoppers Fair. The event, held at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center, will also feature children’s activities, face painting and more than 120 vendors.
November 30: Hairspray
The Broadway musical Hairspray comes to the Ocean City Performing Arts Center November 30, with the show beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale for $65, $75 and $85.
November 30: Originals Only
The Art League of Ocean City will host its monthly Originals Only showcase from 7-9 p.m. Enjoy coffee and live performances by DomtheGonzo, Josh Quillen, Big Chap and Fraiser Fir. Event is free to attend.
Berlin
November 4: Fall Glow Walk
Sponsored by the Worcester County Health Department and the Berlin Parks Commission, Fall Glow Walk invites families for a fun walk starting at Stephen Decatur Park. The event, which starts at 5:30 p.m., features glow sticks and free raffle entries.
November 5: Fall Just Walk Berlin
The Worcester County Health Department and the Berlin Parks Commission will return to Stephen Decatur Park for Fall Just Walk Berlin. Registration opens at 8:30 a.m., and each walker will receive a free raffle entry.
November 25: Ice Ice Berlin & Tree Lighting
The town’s annual tree lighting ceremony will kick off at 6 p.m., with shops and restaurants open late. Santa will be stationed at the Berlin Welcome Center and ice carvings will line the streets in front of local businesses.
Bethany Beach
November 3, November 17: Model Railroading
Delaware Seaside Railroad Club will host its Model Railroading program during the month of November. The course is open to children of all ages and teaches participants the various forms of transportation and why they are important. Groups will also be tasked with creating their own model railroad. The event is held at the Bethany Beach library. Registration is open through the Delaware Libraries website.
Dewey Beach
November 25-27: Developing Artist Collaboration Sip & Shop
Sip & Shop features fine arts, handmade goods, DIY gifts and more made from local artists. Held Black Friday weekend, the event will also feature live entertainment, Santa visits and local drinks. Sip & Shop is free to enter and will be held on Dagsworthy Street from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
November 26: Dewey Beach Tree Lighting
Dewey Tree Lighting at Fifers returns for an evening of food, drink, music and more. More details to come.
Rehoboth Beach
November 6: Southern Delaware Heart Walk
Raise awareness for heart health through the Southern Delaware Heart Walk, held at the bandstand from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
November 25: Tree Lighting & Sing-Along
Rehoboth Beach kicks off the holiday season with the lighting of the community Christmas tree and a holiday sing-along with Clear Space Theatre Company. The event is held downtown from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
November 26: Huffin’ for Pumpkin Pie 5K
The Huffin’ for Pumpkin Pie 5K begins and ends at Grove Park and will be held from 9-11 a.m.
Lewes
Every Saturday: Historic Lewes Farmers Market
The Historic Lewes Farmers Market returns for the season. Held each Saturday, from 9 a.m. to noon, the market features jams and jellies, fresh fruits and vegetables and more.
November 4-6: Analog-A-Go-Go
Celebrate all things indie crafts with Analog-A-Go-Go. Find ales, live music and an artisanal marketplace, all at the Dogfish Head Craft Brewery facility. Festivities will be held Nov. 4-6 from noon to 5 p.m.
November 5: Holiday Bazaar
The Lewes Senior Activity Center will host its Holiday Bazaar from 8 a.m. to noon.
November 5: 6th Annual Delaware Resorts 55+ Expo
The 55+ Expo will feature exhibitors from health and wellness firms, medical facilities, home healthcare agencies, 55 and up communities and more. Beebe Healthcare will also be onsite to offer blood pressure, blood glucose, cholesterol, BMI and bone density screenings. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held at Cape Henlopen High School from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will feature giveaway gifts and prizes.
November 5-6: Rehoboth Art League’s 38th Annual Holiday Fair
Returning for its 38th season, the Annual Holiday Fair will include a variety of artisans selling jewelry, glasswork, ceramics, mixed media and more. The event will be held at the Rehoboth Art League campus Nov. 5-6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
November 11: Veterans Day Overfalls Tours
Overfalls Lightship will be open for tours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tours are free to veterans in honor of Veterans Day.
November 16: Dutch-American Heritage Day
Dutch-American Heritage Day celebrates the anniversary of November 16, 1776, when an American warship sailed into the Dutch island of St. Eustatius and was greeted by a friendly salute, the first ever given by a foreign power to the flag of the newly independent United States. Festivities will be held at the Zwaanendael Museum from 10 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
November 18: Native American Heritage Month Program
The Zwaanendael Museum will celebrate Native American Heritage Month with programming being held at 4 p.m.
November 19: Christmas Boutique & Book Fair
Held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. the Christmas Boutique & Book Fair will feature handmade crafts, Christmas decor, branded merchandise and more. Donations welcome.
