Ocean City

Oct. 1: Oceans Calling Festival

Oceans Calling, a three-day festival, will take place Sept. 29 through Oct. 1 with more than 30 performances across three stages, all along the Ocean City Boardwalk.

Oct. 2: The Ocean City Celebrity Golf Tournament

Held at the Links at Lighthouse Sound, the Ocean City Celebrity Golf Tournament will feature host David Feherty alongside national performers and sports legends. The tournament begins at noon, followed by an awards ceremony at 5 p.m.

Oct. 5: The Greatest Piano Men

The Greatest Piano Men celebrates the world’s greatest pianists and showmen, including Jerry Lee Lewis, Ray Charles, Elton John and Billy Joel. Held at the Ocean City Performing Arts Center, the show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $35.

Oct. 12-15: OCRV & Van Life Show

The first OCRV & Van Life Show will be held at the Ocean City Convention Center Oct. 12-15. General admission is $15, and children 12 and under are free.

Oct. 13: Broadway’s Rock Of Ages Band

Broadway’s Rock of Ages Band will come to the Ocean City Performing Arts Center Oct. 13. The show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $35.

Oct. 19-22: Sunfest

Sunfest, the region’s largest outdoor fall festival, returns to the Ocean City Inlet with arts, crafts, music, food and fall fun. The festival is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday through Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Oct. 25: The Rocky Horror Picture Show

A screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, accompanied by a live shadow cast and audience participation, will come to the Ocean City Performing Arts Center Oct. 25. The show begins at 7 p.m., and tickets start at $35.

Oct. 25: Originals Only

The Art League of Ocean City will host its monthly Originals Only showcase from 7-9 p.m. Enjoy coffee and live performances by DomtheGonzo, Josh Quillen, Big Chap and Fraiser Fir. Event is free to attend.

Oct. 28: Ocean City Running Festival

The inaugural Ocean City Running Festival will feature scenic routes taking runners through the Ocean City Boardwalk and Assateague State Park. The festival will feature a marathon, half-marathon, 8K and 5K.

Berlin

Oct. 7: Berlin Fall Cruisers

Watch classic cars and cruisers as they line down Main Street in Berlin. Festivities begin at 10 a.m.

Oct. 14: Berlin Oktoberfest

Berlin Oktoberfest will feature two stages of live music on Main Street, a fall sidewalk sale, food, beer, Scales-N-Tails and much more. Free shuttle service is available from Berlin Intermediate School. Festivities begin at 11 a.m.

Oct. 28: Berlin Trunk-N-Treat

The Town of Berlin Utilities Department will host a Trunk-N-Treat at Stephen Decatur Park. Beginning at 10 a.m., the event will feature vehicles used by the electric, water resources, public works and police departments, as well as exhibits and K9 demonstrations.

Selbyville

Oct. 7: 100th Anniversary Celebration

Come celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Selbyville Vol. Fire Department. Held from noon to 4 p.m. on North Main Street, the event will feature food, displays, bounce houses and more.

Oct. 21: 3rd Annual Trunk Or Treat

The Town of Selbyville will host its 3rd annual Trunk or Treat from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the fire department parking lot. The event will feature food, raffles, contests and performers, to name a few.

Bethany Beach

Oct. 7: 15th Annual Artisans’ Fair

Held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Bethany Beach Fire Company, the Artisans’ Fair features 40-plus artisans with a wide variety of mediums.

Oct. 14: Golf Scramble

A Golf Scramble to benefit the Bethany Beach Vol. Fire Company will be held at Bear Trap Dunes with a shotgun start at noon.

Oct. 14: Trail Day

Join Friends of Holts Landing State Park for its monthly Trail Day. Join crews in sprucing up the trails. Coffee, donuts and tools are provided. The event is held from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Dewey Beach

Oct. 6-8: Sidewalk Sales At The Beach

The fall sidewalk sales will feature deals and finds at local stores in Rehoboth Beach, Dewey Beach and Route 1. The sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., though store hours may vary.

Oct 27: Trunk Or Treating & Haunted Bonfire

Trunk or treating will be held at various Dewey Beach businesses from 6:30-7:30 p.m., followed by a haunted bonfire and zombie graveyard event at Dickinson Street and the bay.

Rehoboth Beach

Oct. 7: Boardwalk Buddy Walk

The walk, held from 9 a.m. to noon, will raise funds to support those with Down syndrome.

Oct. 8: Fire Prevention Day

Celebrate Fire Prevention Day at the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand. Join the Rehoboth Beach Vol. Fire Company and interact with public safety equipment and personnel. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Oct. 22: Lung Force Walk

Join the American Lung Association for a walk along the boardwalk to raise funds for lung cancer research. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon.

Oct. 23: Blood Drive

The Blood Bank of Delmarva will host a blood drive at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center from noon to 6 p.m.

Oct. 27-29: Sea Witch Festival

The Sea Witch Festival will take place Oct. 27-29. Enjoy live entertainment, contests and parades throughout the weekend.

Oct. 29: Sea Witch Fall 5K Classic

The walk, part of Sea Witch weekend festivities, takes racers from Grove Park to Gordons Pond and back.The festivities will be held from 9-10:30 p.m.

Every Saturday: Historic Lewes Farmers Market

The 27th Annual Boast the Coast will be held Oct. 7 from 11 a.m. to noon at the city dock. Free activities and entertainment will be offered.

Oct. 14: Ashley Furio 5K Run

Come for the race and stay for the celebration at the Crooked Hammock Brewery. The 5K course and post-race party will take place from 9 a.m. to noon.
