Ocean City

Every Sunday: Sundaes in the Park

Held each Sunday throughout the summer season, Sundaes in the Park features free live music and children’s activities, as well as ice cream, which is available for purchase. Families are encouraged to bring their picnic baskets and beach chairs to Northside Park and enjoy free entertainment as the sun sets over the Assawoman Bay. A fireworks display will end each event. The weekly event is held from 7-9 p.m.

Every Monday, Wednesday, Saturday: Beach Movies and Yard Games

Families are invited to gather for movie nights on the beach Monday, Wednesday and Friday, all summer long. The free event will include music and entertainment, with family yard games such as ladder ball, corn hole and spikeball. Movies start at dusk and will be displayed on a big screen on the beach. Held Mondays and Fridays at the 27th Street beach and Wednesdays at the Carousel Hotel, 118th Street Oceanfront.

June 2-4: Ravens Beach Bash

Held June 2-4, the Ravens Beach Bash will feature appearances by current players, alumni, cheerleaders and playmakers with meet-and-greet events. Other festivities include beach games, bonfires, a fireworks/laser light show and more. Ravens Beach Bash headquarters will be stationed at Ocean City Fontainebleau Resort. June 2-4: PBR Ocean City Seacrets Classic

The second annual Professional Bull Riding event will be held June 2-4 at the Inlet parking lot. In addition to professional bull riding, the event will feature food, drinks and more.

June 10-11: OC Air Show

The 16th Annual OC Air Show returns to the resort June 10-11. Stationed over the beach and boardwalk, performers include the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and the F-35 Lightning II Demo Team, to name a few. VIP and premium viewing tickets are on sale at ocairshow.com.

June 11: Broadway’s Rock Of Ages Band

Broadway’s Rock of Ages Band will perform at the Ocean City Performing Arts Center June 11 at 7 p.m. Tickets are now on sale for $35 and $40.

June 28: Originals Only

The Art League of Ocean City will host its monthly Originals Only showcase from 7-9 p.m. Enjoy coffee and live performances by DomtheGonzo, Josh Quillen, Big Chap and Fraiser Fir. Event is free to attend.

Berlin

Every Sunday: Berlin Farmers Market

Held each Sunday in downtown Berlin, the producers-only farmers market features jams, jellies, fresh fruits and vegetables, breads, flowers and more. Live music is also held from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The market opens at 9 a.m.

Every Friday: Live Music Fridays

Live Music Fridays are held each Friday evening from May thru September. The event is held from 6-8 p.m. on Commerce Street.

June 9: Berlin Bathtub Races

Visit downtown Berlin as local businesses and sponsors race down Main Street in homemade rolling tubs for the winner-take-all Ducky Trophy. The event, hosted by the Berlin Chamber of Commerce, begins at 6 p.m.

June 11: Sunday Evenings at the Museum

The Calvin B. Taylor House Museum will host live music, beginning at 6 p.m. Community members are invited to the museum lawn to listen to music, free of charge, and dance the night away.

Selbyville

June 17: 66th Annual Old Timer’s Day

The annual Old Timer’s Day celebration returns to the Town of Selbyville June 17, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will feature food, music, a beer garden and family-friendly activities, as well as a classic car show. The vehicle registration fee is $10, but the event is free and open to the public.

Bethany Beach

Every Sunday: Bethany Beach Farmers Market

The producers-only Bethany Beach Farmers Market is held each Sunday, beginning June 11, from 8 a.m. to noon. Vendors will be stationed at Garfield Parkway and Pennsylvania Avenue, across the street from PNC Bank, selling their produce and wares.

Every Monday: Movies on the Beach

The Town of Bethany Beach will host its weekly Movies on the Beach throughout the summer season. Family-friendly movies will be played on the beach every Monday evening, beginning at dusk.

June 3: Annual Bethany Beach Seaside Craft Show

Held on the Boardwalk from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the annual Seaside Craft Show will feature an array of vendors. The juried crafts show is sponsored by the Bethany Beach Cultural and Historical Affairs Committee.

June 10: Trail Day

Join Friends of Holts Landing State Park for its monthly Trail Day. Join crews in sprucing up the trails. Coffee, donuts and tools are provided. The event is held from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Dewey Beach

Every Monday: Movies on Dewey Beach

Families are invited to the beach at Dagsworthy Avenue every Monday for a free family movie night. The weekly event begins June 20, and movies will begin at 8:30 p.m. Glow necklaces will also be available with a $1 donation.

Every Wednesday: Bonfires on Dewey Beach

Families are invited to bring their beach chairs to Dagsworthy Avenue on Wednesday evenings for a bonfire on the beach. Held from 7-9 p.m., beginning June 22, the weekly event features glow sticks and marshmallows with a $1 donation. Parking in Dewey Beach is free between the hours of 5-11 p.m., Monday through Wednesday.

June 11: University of Delaware Chicken Chase 5K

Held from 7:30-8:30 a.m., the 5K course begins and ends in Dewey. The run/walk will benefit University of Delaware programs.

June 24: Kids Bull Run

A Kids Bull Run will be held June 24 at 10 a.m. on Dagsworthy Street. The event is free to attend. Hosted by Dewey Business Partnership

Rehoboth Beach

Every Tuesday: Rehoboth Beach Farmers Market

Held at Grove Park each Tuesday throughout the summer season, the Rehoboth Beach Farmers Market features vendors selling produce, baked goods, breads and more. The weekly event is held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine.

June 7: Delaware Law Enforcement Torch Run Ceremony

The Delaware Law Enforcement Torch Run Ceremony marks the conclusion of a coastal run from Fenwick Island to Rehoboth Beach. A musical performance and ceremony will take place at the bandstand, followed by a one-mile run to Grove Park. More than 500 police officers will participate to support the Special Olympics. The event will be held from 4-8 p.m.

June 18: Father’s Day 5K

The annual Father’s Day 5K will start at Wilmington Avenue and the boardwalk at 7:30 a.m.

Lewes

Every Saturday: Historic Lewes Farmers Market

The Historic Lewes Farmers Market returns to George H.P. Smith Park for the summer season. Held each Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon, the market features jams and jellies, fresh fruits and vegetables and more.

June 2: Historic Lewes First Fridays

The Lewes Historical Society opens the doors of the Sussex Tavern at the Rabbits Ferry House for its monthly First Fridays. The tavern comes alive as history interpreters share ales and tales from the past. The event is held from 4-7 p.m.

June 3-4: Mid-Atlantic Sea Glass & Coastal Arts Festival

Held at the Lewes Historical Society from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Mid-Atlantic Sea Glass & Coastal Arts Festival will feature sea glass, and coastal artists skilled in mediums such as driftwood, jewelry, photography, painting and ceramics. Works of art will be available for sale. Admission is $5 per person, per day. Children ages 12 and under are free.

June 6: Fort Miles D-Day Event

The Fort Miles Museum, located in Cape Henlopen State Park, will host a D-Day remembrance event featuring exhibits, hands-on demonstrations, and museum tours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

June 15: 19th Street Band Concert

The 19th Street Band will perform “American gypsy rock” music at the Lewes Canalfront Park. The event will be held from 7-9 p.m.

June 17: Lewes Garden Tour

Nine private gardens will be open to the public for the 31st annual Lewes Garden Tour. In addition to touring the gardens, the event will include a garden market at Zwaanendael Park, with vendors selling garden-related items and food. The tour will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are $35 per person, or $30 in advance, and can be purchased through the Lewes Chamber of Commerce website.

June 17: Juneteenth Program

The Zwaanendael Museum will host a Juneteenth program via Zoom beginning at 4 p.m. Event details will be posted on the museum website.

June 24: Juneteenth Freedom Day

A free community event will be held from 1-6 p.m. at George Smith Park. Activities include history tables, food trucks, vendors, dancers and live music. Rain date is June 25.

June 29: Mike Hines & The Look Concert

Mike Hines & The Look will perform R&B, hip-hop, Motown and disco music at the Lewes Canalfront Park from 7-9 p.m.
